I made my first distortion pedal in a high school electronics class, and I've been tinkering with electronics ever since! I got a degree in mechanical engineering but ended up working in electronics engineering and related mechanicals. This propelled me from simply repairing my own gear and building copies, into design and experimentation. Clever and creative circuit design is my main area of interest, be it amplifiers, filters, or even digital (my latest direction).
